Dr. Moorthygari Sree Lakshmi is working as Professor in the Department of Business Management (DBM), University College of Commerce and Business Management (UCCBM), Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, Telangana, India since 2013. she has got promotion as Professor on 22nd september 2023 under CAS. She has worked as a Principal UCCBM for 3 years i.e., 2019-2022. Prior to this she has held many positions at Department and University level such as Chairperson, Board of Studies for Management Studies, Head of the Department, Dept. of Management Studies and IQAC Director, Chairperson - Women Protection Cell at Mahatma Gandhi University..
Her Qualifications are B.Com, MBA with HR and Finance. She has received Doctor of Philosophy From Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur for her contributions in the area of finance on Lease Financing in the year 2005. She has Cleared State Level Eligibility Test for Lecturer ship (SLET) in the year 1998.

She has started her career in Teaching Profession at PG level from the year 1994. She has 28 years of teaching experience at MBA level. She has started her career as a lecturer at KIMS, Karimnagar then worked at Warangal Institute of Management studies (ITM Group) and Alluri Institute of Management Studies at Warangal. She has worked as Assistant and Associate Professor, served for 12 years at DBM, Sarojini Naidu Vanita Mahavidyalaya, Hyderabad. She has Experience at other states such as Acharya group of Institutes (AIT) as Professor and Director in Department of Business Management located in Bangalore served for 2 years. She also has international experience as visiting professor in abroad Canada for short duration.

She has received Six awards “Adarsha Vidya Saraswathi Rastriya puraskar” in the year 2018. Best Head of the Department award in the year 2019. IRDP award for Best Teacher in the year 2019. Prestigious Award “Dr. Sarvepally Radhakrishnan Distinguished Academic Leader Award 2021” for outstanding contribution as Principal, UCC&BM conferred by Centre for Professional and Continuous Education CPACE on 5th September 2021. Multidisciplinary Research Foundation IMRF conferred award on “Indo Asian Best Researcher Award 2021” for her contribution in HR and Finance On 5th October 2021. Global Multidisciplinary Research and Academic Foundation (GMRAF) Best Teacher Award 2022 for HR and General Finance on 3rd September, 2022 at Chennai and Avishkar Foundation, Solapur awarded Global Teacher award for her contributions to the Education for the year 2022.

To her credit she has published 4 books, 29 articles in various national, international journals and book chapters. 25 papers were presented in national and international conferences. As a Resource person, she chaired for many conferences at national and international level. She is a good trainer, resource person for many training programmes at Nalgonda and Hyderabad. She has organized many FDP programmes. She is very active as external examiner, paper setter and Ph.D adjudicator for more than 10 universities in India. She is a Ph.d. Supervisor having four scholars.
She has visited more than 10 countries worldwide. She has life membership in many Management Associations in India. To her credit member of editorial board for national level journals
