About
I am a researcher in biomedical engineering and electrical engineering, with an interdisciplinary focus on medical imaging, biomedical signal processing, and quantitative physiological analysis. I completed my PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, where my doctoral research focused on the quantitative measurement and analysis of renal tracer transit time in nuclear medicine renography.
My research interests include nuclear medicine imaging (renal scintigraphy and PET/CT), image and signal processing for clinical applications, and the development of quantitative and objective diagnostic parameters to support clinical decision-making. I have worked extensively on renal function assessment using radiotracers such as 99mTc-DTPA and MAG3, applying computational and density-based approaches for improved physiological interpretation.
I have published multiple conference papers and hold a published patent related to quantitative analysis in renal imaging. My broader research interests also include biomedical instrumentation, clinical data analysis, and translational research, with the aim of bridging engineering methodologies and practical healthcare applications.
