Presently, I am working as a Professor and Head of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, DY Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi-Mumbai.
I did my M.Tech and Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. I have filed 4 patents and recently one Indian patent has been granted.
My areas of interest are Applications of Higher-Order Cumulants and Spectra, joint Time-Frequency analysis, Singers Voice Analysis, Audio, Image and Video Processing.
I am a member of various professional societies -a fellow of IETE, a Life member of ISTE, IEEE signal Processing Society member, and IETE Councellar at RAIT, Navi Mumbai.
