About
My research bridges fundamental science and practical applications in advanced materials design, focusing on Ti alloys, nuclear steels, and high-entropy alloys. My work addresses critical challenges in sustainability, additive manufacturing, and nuclear energy by exploring the interplay between alloy composition, processing methods (e.g., heat treatment, additive manufacturing, thermal spraying), and environmental exposure (e.g., irradiation, corrosion).
I leverage cutting-edge multiscale characterisation techniques, such as atom probe tomography, small-angle neutron scattering, and machine learning-driven CALPHAD modelling, to uncover novel material properties and optimise processes for manufacturing, and recycling innovations.
