About
Kumar is a medicinal-drug discovery scientist with expertise spanning synthetic chemistry, early hit discovery, and lead optimization. After earning his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry (2019), he gained international experience across India, South Korea, and South Africa, contributing to highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary industrial/academic projects in infectious diseases and nanomedicine.
He is currently a Lead Medicinal Scientist (Biomedicine) at the University of Bergen, where he leads a multidisciplinary NeuroConvergence project focused on advancing therapeutic strategies in neuroscience through integrated chemical, biological, and computational approaches.
