About
I am presently working as full professor in King Saud University. My research interest is Protein Biochemistry. We are exploring mechanism of Ligand-protein Binding, Non-enzymatic glycation and Aggregation of proteins. Neurological proteins are also underway to find their inhibitors. Drug-designing, molecular docking and simulation are being used in our study. Toxicity of food additives and natural products towards cancer cells is another line of research. Common techniques include in our research are Fluorescence, Circular dichroism (CD), TEM, SEM, AFM, SDS-PAGE and chromatography. Also, cell culture, RT-PCR, western blotting and ELISA. Nanoparticles toxicity and mechanism are also exploiting in our research facilities.
