Our research is dedicated to early-stage drug discovery, specifically focusing on the development of structure-based therapeutics for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) and cancer, targeting oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) receptor LOX-1, and CLIC1, respectively. We use cutting-edge CADD techniques to identify, design, and optimize potential lead candidates for IND development. These candidates undergo extensive and rigorous in vitro validation through biochemical, biophysical, and cell-based assays. Promising candidates are further evaluated in in vivo mouse models to assess their safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic characteristics, and move them closer to filing an IND. Our main objective is to find and create tailored treatments that can dramatically lower death rates and enhance the quality of life for those afflicted with these devastating diseases.
