About
Mr. Sanjit Boora is presently affiliated with the Centre for Biotechnology at Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak, where he actively contributes to scientific advancements. His ongoing research is centered on assessing the antiviral properties inherent in plant extracts, reflecting a keen interest in the exploration of natural compounds with potential therapeutic applications. This research not only adds to the body of knowledge surrounding medicinal plants but also holds promise for identifying novel antiviral agents.
In conjunction with his focus on antiviral activity, Mr. Boora has undertaken a systematic evaluation to enhance the early and rapid diagnosis of H1N1. Employing a diverse array of methods such as rt-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction), M-rt-PCR (multiplex reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction), and rt-LAMP (reverse transcription-loop-mediated isothermal amplification), among others, he aims to refine diagnostic techniques for expedited and accurate detection of H1N1. This approach reflects his commitment to addressing crucial challenges in virology, particularly in the context of influenza outbreaks.
Mr. Boora's research pursuits highlight not only his dedication to investigating the antiviral potential of plant extracts but also his comprehensive efforts to improve diagnostic capabilities in the context of viral infections. His work contributes to the broader scientific understanding of both therapeutic and diagnostic aspects, showcasing the potential for practical applications in the development of antiviral treatments and advancements in virological diagnostics, especially concerning H1N1.
