About
Rupam is a synthetic inorganic chemist. He did his graduation from Visva-Bharati (a central university) and earned doctoral degree from IIT Kharagpur in Framework Lab. He is now employed as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) at University of Lincoln, UK. His broad research area focuses on understanding the host-guest interactions of porous materials at the molecular level. He aims to design and develop acid ligand-based chemically stable porous frameworks, Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), Hydrogen-bonded Organic Frameworks (HOFs) etc., and check their potentiality in the environmental and energy-related application domain. He is very much interested in analyzing the host-guest interactions in the light of SC-XRD structural analysis.
