About
Dr.M.Govindarajan completed his B.Sc. Degree in Zoology from Government Arts College (Autonomous), Kumbakonam. M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D., degrees from Annamalai University, Annamalainagar, Tamilnadu, India. He has secured first rank with gold medal in the M.Phil., degree. He is at present serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Annamalai University. His research interests include isolation, identification and characterization of biologically active molecules from plants and microbes. He is also interested in the development of cost effective pesticidal and antimicrobial agents from natural sources. He has published more than 200 research papers in National and International journals. His Scopus h index is 35, Google scholar citation is more than 4450. He has published two books in Lambert Academic Publication, Germany. He has attended and presented research papers in many National and International seminars/ symposia/conferences. He has also guided M.Phil and Ph.D scholars. He has been appointed as M.Phil and Ph.D Public Viva- Voce Examiners in various Universities. He has been serving as editorial board member in various National and International journals. He has been received major research project from DST, UGC and ICMR, Government of India, New Delhi, India. He has awarded Shiksha Rattan Puraskar from India International Friendship Society, New Delhi, India. He has also been awarded BEST TEACHER AWARD (2018-19), GOVERNMENT COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (A), KUMBAKONAM, TAMILNADU, India.
