Dr. Lakshman Kumareshan

Dr. Lakshman Kumareshan is a distinguished academician with over 16+ years of teaching and 3+ years of corporate experience. He currently serves as Associate Professor, Head, and Assistant Dean–Student Affairs at the School of Management, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), SBMJEC, Bengaluru.
A prolific researcher and innovator, Dr. Lakshman has achieved a significant scholarly footprint with 200+ paper citations and over 15 papers indexed in Scopus, alongside numerous publications in ABDC
and Web of Science journals. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Annamalai University (evaluated by Aurora University, USA) and is a recognized Research Supervisor and External PhD Examiner for several global universities.
Dr. Lakshman is a proven leader in academic administration, having served as the Convener for more than 5 successful National and International Conferences hosted by JAIN University and SBMJEC. His
leadership extends to high-profile national roles, including serving as Liaison Officer for the AIU Khelo India University Games (2022) and Jain Utsav (2023).
In addition to authoring 19 professional books and holding multiple Indian and UK patents, he was recently honored as a Session Chair at IIM Sambalpur 2025. A sought-after keynote speaker, he oversees critical institutional initiatives including the Student Council, Placements, and Entrepreneurship clubs. His excellence has been recognized with the Best Academician Award 2023 and the Shiksha Ratna Award 2024.
