AJAY KUMAR GUPTA received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University) Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, in
2006, and the M. Tech. degree in Signal Processing
from the department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology
Guwahati (IITG), Assam, India, in 2009.
He was awarded his Ph.D. from the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), India, in 2024.
He is currently working as Assistant Professor with the Department
of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi, India. He served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at MAIT, Delhi, from February 2011 to May 2025, after previously holding the same position at the School of Electronics Engineering, VIT University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, from July 2009 to September 2010. He secured a 99.1 percentile in GATE (ECE) in 2006 and a 99.3 percentile in 2014. He has published numerous research articles in reputed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, and IEEE Systems Journal, among others, and has also served as a reviewer for several leading journals, including IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, and IEEE Internet of Things. His current research interests include Signal Processing, Game Theory, Machine Learning, and Pricing strategies for charging of wireless networks and electric vehicles.
