About

I’m a structural biology researcher currently pursuing my PhD in Structural Biochemistry at the University of Zurich, where I study iron-sulfur (Fe-S) cluster biogenesis and DNA repair mechanisms. My work uses cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) to visualize these essential cellular processes at molecular resolution.

My background spans microbiology, molecular biology, and computational image analysis. I completed my Bachelor’s in Microbiology at the University of Delhi and went on to earn my Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich. During my time at LMU, I developed a strong interest in structural biology and the power of imaging techniques like cryo-EM to connect molecular structure with biological function and disease.

Alongside my research, I actively mentor students who aspire to study abroad, helping them navigate applications, research opportunities, and academic transitions. I’m passionate about making global education more accessible and supporting others in building international research careers.
