About
Dr. Ravi Kant is Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. His areas of research interest include Knowledge Management, Operations & Supply Chain, Lean & Six Sigma. He has about 15 years of experience in industry, teaching and research. He has co- authored more than 200 research papers in international journals and conferences and 03 books. He has guided 17 Ph.D. Students and more than 60 M.Tech Students. He has been selected as one among the top 10 “Most outstanding Researchers” in the field of Business, Management and Accounting by Carrier360 in 2017. He has been also selected for Indian faculty secondment to Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok(Thailand) by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi for a period of upto 16 weeks during the January, 2019 semester to teach ‘Inventory and Logistics Management’ Course. He has wide expertise to handle the academic and industrial affairs
