About
I am postdoctoral researcher in the Bio and Circular Economy Group at Tampere University, Finland, working on Ammoniacal nitrogen recovery coupled with Hydrogen production in bioelectrochemical systems (BES). My expertise is in design, optimize, scaling of BES for energy generation, resource recovery, wastewater treatment and sludge processing. Also, I work on “FRACTURES” research project on how current wastewater infrastructures enable the implementation of a circular economy and, on the other hand, monitor decision-making regarding various solutions in water and wastewater utilities in Finland. I am experienced in Extracellular electrode transfer, electrode material synthesis and surface modification for overpotential reduction for energy efficiency, proton exchange membrane (PEM) fabrication for BES.
