Dr Armando Alcázar Magaña, a Metabolomics Senior Research Scientist and Metabolomics Manager at the Life Sciences Centre, The University of British Columbia, Vancouver Campus, have a distinguished career in metabolomics and analytical chemistry. Having earned a Summa Cum Laude PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Guanajuato University, Mexico, and engaging in collaborative endeavours with Sydney University, Australia, and Nagaoka University, Japan, Dr Armando Alcázar Magaña has skillfully developed and applied dozens of analytical methods to propel the field of metabolomics research forward. Currently, he leads the metabolomics initiatives at LSC's metabolomics core and holds a Research Associate-Courtesy Appointment at OSU Mass Spectrometry Center, Oregon State University.
