Dr. Snehanshu Pal is currently working as an AssociateDean (International Relation ) and an Associate Professor in the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering of Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur. He has worked as a faculty at Metallurgical and Materials Engineering department of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, for nine (9) years and six (6) months. He has served as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the Pennsylvania State University, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in 2013. He has more than three (3) years of Industrial working experience in a integrated steel plant, Rourkela Steel Plant, Steel Authority of India Limited, (SAIL, India). He has published more thanone hundred and twenty eight (128) high-impact research articles in internationally reputed SCI indexed journals. He has supervised Eleven (11) doctoral (Ph.D.) theses , sixteen (16) master (M. Tech) theses and twenty two (22) undergraduate (B. Tech) theses. He is an investigator of five (5) sponsored research projects and three (3) industrial projects. He is author of three (3) technical books and editor of one (1) technical book . He has active research collaborations with esteemed universities across the globe (such as the University of Florida (USA), the University of Manitoba (Canada), Université Lille (France), National University of Singapore and the National Academy of Science of Belarus). In addition, Dr. Snehanshu Pal is associated with various esteemed technical and scientific societies such as Indian Institute of Metals and Indian Institute of Engineers.
