About
Dr. Hritinava Banik is a materials physicist whose research focuses on bio-organic and biodegradable materials for next-generation electronic and memory devices. His work bridges fundamental charge-transport physics with sustainable electronics, emphasizing resistive switching phenomena in proteins, enzymes, plant-derived materials, and organic thin films. He has extensive experience in thin-film fabrication and electrical characterization, employing techniques such as Langmuir–Blodgett assembly, spin coating, and current–voltage spectroscopy to elucidate structure–property relationships.
Dr. Banik has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading journals and holds granted international patents in biodegradable memory and sensing technologies. His research philosophy centers on reducing electronic waste through the use of environmentally benign materials while advancing neuromorphic and transient electronic architectures. He actively collaborates with national and international research groups and contributes to academic leadership, mentoring, and scientific outreach
