About

I am a researcher in Botany specializing in stress physiology, with a focus on plant–microbe interactions and sustainable strategies to mitigate abiotic stress in crops. My work explores the roles of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), exopolysaccharides (EPS), and ACC deaminase in enhancing crop tolerance to salinity, drought and other hazardous chemicals. I have authored several research articles, reviews, and book chapters with over 800 google scholar citations, and my current interests include biostimulants, biofertilizers, and microbial and biotechnological approaches for improving crop productivity and soil health.
