About

I have completed my Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at the Department of Bioinformatics, Pondicherry Central University. My thesis is entitled “Comprehensive Analysis of Zaire ebolavirus – Human Interaction for Understanding of Disease Mechanism and Drug Re-Purposing”, supervised by Dr. Amouda, Assistant Professor, Centre for Bioinformatics, Pondicherry University.

My doctoral research centers on the identification of differentially expressed genes and long non-coding RNAs of Zaire ebolavirus infected human cell lines. The analyses have been done using gene expression data (microarray and Next Generation Sequencing data). An Ebola-specific database called Ebolabase is also developed in the context of the Ebola virus–human interaction and drug re- proposing. I consider my technical skills, working in a team, independently, teaching, and practical mentoring will be a suitable fit to work under consideration of your team as a member. I would love to develop and deepen my knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing data analysis and Machine learning approach concepts in modern era use and applications. I have been working as a Bioinformatics scientist in Nucleome Informatics since Apr 2021.
