About

My persistent research interests are in the field of toxicology using in vivo models and molecular biology techniques to determine the interaction between environmental factors and the pathology of host disease development. Recent emerging evidence of gut microbiome and host nuclear receptor interaction increase my attention in the field of microbiology. Training experience in UPLC-MS/MS, helped me to develop methods for metabolomics quantifications of bile acids and other essential metabolites. Use of bioinformatics in the field of toxicology and microbiology is another interest in my research. I have gathered expertise in the field of electron microscopes (TEM, SEM, confocal, fluorescence) during the time of my PhD studies. I have skills to work with animal tissues ranging from Drosophila, mice, rats to human. I have taken online course in Coursera platform to learn R statistical language. I have published 20 scientific articles in renowned toxicology journals. I have also authored approximately 20 meeting abstracts and presented my research in the regional, national, and international conferences of toxicology and advanced molecular biology. In summary, I have expertise and motivation to explore unknown fact associated between gut microbiome and host xenobiotic interactions in the development of metabolic diseases.
