Dr. Subrata Mondal has an excellent track record of research and innovation as a mid-career researcher in the interdisciplinary research areas of advanced materials science and engineering. Dr. Mondal is a Professor and currently, Head at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR) Kolkata. So far, Dr. Mondal has 61 SCI journal papers, two international patents, twenty book chapters (published/accepted), and 23 conferences. Total SCI impact point of his publications is over 200. Total citation is over 5600, h-index is 31 and i-10 index 55 (Source: Google Scholar, as on 24 September 2025). He has reviewed research proposal from USA-Israel BARD fund and FONDECYT-CHILE (Chile’s National Research Grant), Republic of Chile. Dr. Mondal is an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Chemistry (SCI, Impact Factor: 2.8). In addition of his extensive research activities in the interdisciplinary research areas of advanced materials science and engineering, Dr. Mondal has reviewed over 200 manuscripts from over 90 international refereed journals. Dr. Subrata Mondal has been enlisted as top 2% of scientists in Polymers discipline in the past few years, published by the Stanford University, USA together with Elsevier BV. His researches have been featured in “Queensland Business Review (QBR)”, “Australian Anthill” and “Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) – Landline” TV channel.
