About
This is Gayathri. I have completed my PG program from University of Madras under Organic Chemistry specialization. Then did my doctoral program in CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute, under Chemical Sciences.
My thesis title is "Synthetic and Catalytic activities of Thermoresponsive Organometallic Compounds."
My research area of interests is, "Synthesizing responsive polymers through controlled living radical polymerization, designing smart catalysts by incorporating responsive polymers onto ligand cores (N-heterocyclic carbenes and Triazole), Performing coupling and copper assisted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reactions, Utilizing smart catalysts for biological materials (bacterial cellulose and collagen) chemical modifications."
