Dr. Gaurav Sharma has obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry on topic “Nanocomposite ion exchanger: synthesis, characterization and their analytical applications” in 2014. He had published more than 140 research papers in high impact national and international journals of repute, 9 book chapters, edited 5 book. His h-index is 51, i10-index 83. He is editorial board member of several international journals as Current Organic Chemistry, Materials, Current Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Nanostructures in Chemistry, Innovations in Corrosion and Materials Science, and Journal of Applied Surfaces and Interfaces etc. He worked as assistant professor in school of chemistry, Shoolini University, Solan, India. He has been invited as visiting research professor in 2017 & 2019 by School of Chemistry and Physics, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He is highly cited researcher-2020. He has organized several national and international conferences. He is reviewer of more than 30 SCI journals including Scientific report, Applied catalysis b, Chemosphere, Carbohydrate polymer, Desalination and water treatment, International journal of biological macromolecules and Alloys and compounds etc. His thrust areas of research are Nanocomposites, Bimetallic & trimetallics nanoparticles,Green Chemistry, Photocatalysis, Ion exchanger and Environmental remediation.
