About

(1) Dr. Koya Purnachandra Rao was born to Sri. Koya Venkateswarlu (father) and Smt. Koya Nagaratnamma (mother) in a remote but highly educated and cultured village Ravinuthala - 523213, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Dr. Koya has married Smt. Koya Venkata Lakshmi (wife) and got two daughters namely Koya Teerdha Varshini (elder daughter) and Koya Amrutha Varshini (younger daughter).
(2) Dr. Koya has earned B. Sc. (Mathematics), M. Sc. (Mathematics), Ph. D. (Mathematics) and M. Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering) degrees from prestigious universities in India.
(3) Dr. Koya has undergone Indian military training and became an Associated National Cadet Corps (NCC) officer with Lieutenant (Lt.) rank.
(4) Dr. Koya has been teaching a wide range of courses in Mathematics at UG and PG levels for B. Sc., M. Sc., B.Tech., M. Tech., MBA, MCA and Ph. D. courses in India and Ethiopia for about three decades.
(5) Professor Koya has been guiding students for their M. Sc. and Ph. D. theses. Till May 2025, 18 M. Sc. students and 20 Ph. D. scholars have earned their degrees.
(6) Dr. Rao has published about 125 research papers in the journals of national and international repute.
