About

Mr B.P. Singh obtained his M.Sc. (Computer Science) from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and pursuing PhD in Library and Information Science from University of Delhi. He has more than 18 years professional and administrative experience in reputed organizations. Presently, he is working as a Faculty Librarian at AYUSH Central Library, Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed to be University), Agra. He has also worked at DESIDOC, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Delhi since Jan. 2004 to Nov. 2011. He has authored of 41 peer reviewed research papers/chapters published in International/National journals and edited books. Being an editor, he has edited & published 05 books in the area of ICT, Mobile technology, Cyber Security and Library Science. He is members of various professional bodies like Data Science Association (USA), AASCIT, RDAP, ILA, RRC and SALIS. He is the member of Editorial Advisory Board of Elixir International Journal on Library & Information Science (ISSN: 2229 -712X) and expert reviewer of DESIDOC, Journal of Library & Information Technology (e-ISSN: 0976-4658. Print ISSN, 0974-0643). He has attended and coordinated various online workshop, FDP and Webinars during his professional career. He is awarded of various International/National awards like BI-International Grant-2018, IFLA Scholarship-2019, ALA-ALCTS online Course Grant-2020, ALA-Core Online Course Scholarship-2021 DRDO Cash Award-2010 and Innovative Librarian Award-2021 etc. He is also, recipient of best paper presentation award in National Conference on Role of Knowledge Management in R&D-2009, Organised by DESIDOC, DRDO, Delhi.
