Dr. Amit Kumar Dhiman is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee, India. He is Head and Joint Faculty in the Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation & Management (CoEDMM), IIT Roorkee. He has also worked for Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). He published more than 100 research articles in refereed journals. His research interests include CFD, Heat transfer, Non-Newtonian fluid mechanics, Bluff bodies, Nanofluids, Porous media, Fire research & engineering, and Safety. Dr. Dhiman is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), Editorial Board members of Heat Transfer (Wiley), and Journal of Computational and Applied Mechanics (JCAM), Hungary.
