I am working as Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology, Nehru Gram Bharati Deemed to be University, Prayagraj, India. I received my D. Phil. Degree from the University of Allahabad, Allahabad, for the work on spatial distributional of patterns benthic macroinvertebrate community in upper Ganga basin. I have worked as team member of the Biodiversity team for e-flow assessment of the upper Ganga River (WWF-India) and Project scientist, Ganga River Basin Management Programme, IIT, Kanpur. I have published more than 56 research papers in the various International and National Journals. I have written 2 book on macroinvertebrate fauna of Central Indian Rivers and written 1 edited book. Still I am involved in the study of benthic ecology of lotic ecosystem and aquatic biodiversity in lotic ecosystem of different eco-regions; Himalaya and Central India.
