About
Dr. Sonali Goel received her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Technical Education and Research, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in the year 2018. Her Ph.D. research work is on the topic “Design and Performance Characteristics of Solar Photovoltaic and Biomass Hybrid Energy Systems for Rural Application”. Her career objectives are to be an energy expert in the field of renewable energy and to work in any research projects/R&D organisations/educational institutes and carry out research and teaching in renewable energy. Her research interest includes Solar Photovoltaic System, Biomass and Biogas Systems, Hybrid Renewable Energy System, Rural Electrification and Electric Vehicles. She has been an expert in designing solar PV systems (on-grid and off-grid) using different renewable software. She have good knowledge of PVSyst, PVSOL, PVWatts, HelioScope, HOMER and MS Office. She have been the author of more than 48 articles in International Journals like Elsevier, Springer and Taylor and Francis, book Chapters and conferences paper on International and national repute . She have been an active reviewer for Taylor and Francis, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, IEEE and many more. She is currently the review editor for Solar Energy, Frontiers in Energy Research and Smart Grids ,Frontiers in Energy Research. She is a Life member of the Solar Energy Society of India, an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) and Life Member of the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (India).
