About

Dr. Bhavuk Garg (MBBS, MD, DNB, FIPS, MNAMS) brings 15 years of expertise in the field of Psychiatry. He currently serves as Professor of Psychiatry at Lady Hardinge Medical College and is also affiliated with the Mental Health Division, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW).
Dr. Garg completed his MBBS at the esteemed Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, before pursuing his MD in Psychiatry at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), New Delhi, where he also completed his Senior Residency and later served as a Locum Consultant. Additionally, he obtained a DNB in Psychiatry from the National Board of Examinations. Dr. Garg has also worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist with Fortis Healthcare, Delhi.
A passionate and dynamic educator, Dr. Garg has extensive teaching experience. He is an active member of several committees within the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and plays a direct role in shaping mental health policies. He has authored many publications and contributed chapters to various books. His professional interests span community psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and child psychiatry.
