Dr. Himadri Bhuyan

About

Dr. HIMADRI B.G.S. BHUYAN received his B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2006.
He got his master’s (M.Tech) degree from IIT Kharagpur. Also completed his Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur.
During his Ph.D., he also worked for Space Application Center, ISRO, Ahmedabad, on a project Hands-Free Gesture Recognition.
His research interests include Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Digital Heritage. He got his doctoral degree on the thesis titled "A Machine Learning Approach to the Analysis and Interpretation of Bharatanatyam Dance Performances."
Dr. Bhuyan has 15 years of experience, including research, academics, and industry (IBM Global Services, India).
