Ph.D. Scholar in Design at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, with 9.5 years of combined experience in research and development, industry, and field-based innovation, including involvement in multiple government-funded research and development projects at IIT Roorkee. I have contributed to multiple patented technologies in hill and terrace farming, traditional watermill (Gharat) systems, and biomass utilisation, alongside research publications in reputed international journals and conferences. My work involves extensive field research, participatory innovation, technology development, and community engagement across diverse rural regions of India. My broader research interests include industrial design, user experience (UX), interdisciplinary design research, frugal and social innovation, sustainability, resilience, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable rural development, with a strong emphasis on translating research into practical and socially relevant solutions.
