About
Dr. Pooja Mishra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A), where she has been on the faculty since 2014. She received her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.Her research spans Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) polarimetry, microwave imaging, microwave remote sensing, electromagnetic wave modeling, and satellite image analysis, with applications ranging from lunar surface characterization to agricultural monitoring and soil-moisture retrieval. She has authored or co-authored over 45 publications, including 13 papers in international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, and the International Journal of Remote Sensing, alongside numerous papers in international and national conferences.
