About
Dr Sanjith Aaron is a Professor of Neurology at the Christian Medical College Hospital Vellore (CMC Vellore) one of the largest tertiary care teaching hospitals in South Asia with over 3500 beds and an outpatient load of over 9000 patients per day. After completing his MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine), and DM (Neurology) from CMC Vellore, he pursued a fellowship in Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases at the University of Calgary in Canada. He spearheads a very busy Neurology service and research work .He has over 100 publications and book chapters and is also the principal investigator of a number of national and international clinical trials. His research interests include hyper acute stroke therapies, Headache disorders, stroke in young, cerebral, venous thrombosis, and Neurosonology.
