About
L. Satish (SM’64) received the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Science
(IISc), Bangalore, India, in 1993.
He was a post-doctoral fellow at ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, during
1993–1995. He joined the Department of High Voltage Engineering, IISc, in
1995 and is currently a Professor in the High Voltage Laboratory, Department of
Electrical Engineering. His areas of research include application of signal processing to high-voltage impulse testing, diagnostics, and condition monitoring, ADC testing, Frequency Response Analysis. He was a Visiting Researcher at the High Voltage Institute,
H.U.T, Finland, during the summer of 1998.
Dr. Satish is a member of CIGRE WG D1-33.
