Abdul Aziz is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Chittagong where he worked with Dr. Abu Nowshed Chy as a member of CSECU-DSG Research Lab since 2020.

Abdul Aziz works at the intersection of Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision in the field of multimodal and multilingual generative AI, multilingual and low-resources NLP, AI for social good, opinion mining, biomedical and health informatics, NLP and computer vision.

Abdul Aziz publishes at premier academic venues across NLP and ML (e.g., LREC COLING, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, Elsevier), including 3 International NLP Research Workshop Shared Task winning teams at CLEF-2023, EMNLP-2022, and FIRE-2020.
