M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India. Currently serving as a senior Professor in School of Life Sciences, Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya(DAVV) , Indore, India with 35+ years of PG teaching and 40 yrs of research experience. Earlier served as Senior Research Officer, EPCO, Bhopal,as the Dean, Head & Chairman Board of studies in Life Sciences; Member in Executive council(EC), Academic council, Committee for Fostering Research & Institutional Animal Ethical Committee of DA university. Also as Professor in charge, Development section of DAVV, Indore.

Awarded with prestigious Common Wealth Academic Fellowship, UK; U.G.C. Career Res. Award, India; Young Scientist award from ISCA, India, Best Science Teacher-Researcher award of the University (2010). In 2017, was felicitated with highest citation of research papers in DAVV, Indore and for the outstanding contribution in Research by Zoological Soc. of India and Life time achievement award by the Soc of Env and Social Welfare (ESW), India in 2018.

Published 162 full length research papers, including 132 in International journals of repute & 25 in reputed National Jnls; 02 chapters in books (CRC & Stadium, USA) and 6 review papers. Also 2 UGC countrywide class room programs. He has handled 06 major research projects & has supervised 17 Ph.D. scholars (all most all are NET/GATE qualified, now well settled). Reviewer of some national and international journals & also Editor of 8 different International Journals. In 2 international journals “Thyroid letter”,& in “Journal of Stroke Research and Rehabilitation the only editor form India.

Delivered invited talks in many national and some international symposium & conferences including a plenary talk in South Korea & also chaired scientific sessions. Also a resource person of some HRDC/Academic staff colleges.
MAIN RESEARCH INTEREST on “Endocrinology & Phyto-medicine” with special reference to the regulation of Cardiovascular diseases(CVDs), Thyroid dysfunctions, Diabetes mellitus & Breast cancer.
