About
Innovative and forward-thinking scientist with a diverse background in Biochemistry, Human Genetics, and Cancer Research. With a Undergrad in Biochemistry, PG in Human Genetics, Doctrate in Cancer Genetics and Telomere Biology, I have honed my expertise in understanding the intricacies of the human genome and its role in disease progression.
During my postdoctoral fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University, USA, I focused on Colon and Head and Neck Cancer, conducted research explored novel therapeutic targets and identified potential biomarkers for early detection. This experience allowed me to collaborate with leading experts in the field and contribute to the cutting-edge advancements in cancer research.
Currently serving as a Senior Resident at SKIMS, my work centers around Human Genetic Disorders. Through extensive clinical and laboratory investigations, I am dedicated to unraveling the genetic underpinnings of various disorders, ultimately paving the way for earlier diagnosis.
Beyond my academic achievements, I am a passionate advocate for scientific communication and public engagement. I have actively participated in conferences and symposiums, presenting my research findings and fostering collaborations with fellow scientists. Additionally, I have authored 38 peer-reviewed publications, sharing my insights and contributing to the scientific community’s knowledge base and have patent in telomere biology as well
As a driven and adaptable researcher, I thrive in dynamic environments that encourage innovationMy goal is to leverage my expertise and passion for scientific discovery to make a positive impact on patient care and contribute to the ongoing fight against Human Genetic disorders and cancer.
If you are looking for a dedicated and accomplished researcher to join your team or collaborate on groundbreaking projects, I would be thrilled to connect and explore potential opportunities. Let’s work together to drive scientific progress and improve lives.
