About
I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam (IIITK), and I have completed my postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), specializing in climate modeling. My research expertise lies in nonlinear partial differential equations, with a strong focus on dynamical systems governed by fractional differential and differential-difference equations. I have made significant contributions to the study of time-space fractional partial differential equations, extending key analytical techniques such as Lie Symmetry Analysis and the Invariant Subspace Method.
Recently, I have incorporated machine learning into my research, working with Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) and Graph Neural Networks (GNNs). This fusion of deep learning and mathematical modeling is improving the predictive power of solutions to nonlinear differential equations. Alongside this, I have explored fuzzy differential equations and developed mathematical models for SIRS epidemiological systems. These interdisciplinary efforts have helped bridge theory and application in areas like health.
My academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam (2014), followed by an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the same university (2016). I then pursued an M.Phil. in Mathematics at Bharathiar University (2019), where I developed fuzzy domain models for glucose-insulin regulation. I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam (2024), under the supervision of Dr. T. Bakkyaraj. My doctoral work focused on invariant analysis and exact solutions for nonlinear fractional PDEs and differential-difference equations. Now, I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow on the project titled 'Hybrid-AI Quantile Regression: Combining Nonparametric Statistical Methods and Physics-Informed Neural Networks for Analysing Spatio-temporal Climate Data,' jointly supervised by Prof. Soudeep Deb (IIM Bangalore) and Prof. Itai Dattner (University of Haifa).
