Rajesh Kumar Rai, MA (Geography), MPhil (Population Studies), MPH, PhD (Economics), is currently an Adjunct Researcher for the Birbhum Population Project, Society for Health and Demographic Surveillance in India, an Adjunct Professor with the Human Nutrition Unit, Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU) in Thailand, and a Bernard Lown Scholar with the Department of Global Health and Population, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University in the USA. His research focuses on a range of public health issues, including nutrition, reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH), and the burden of disease. He has more than 12 years of research experience and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, opinion pieces, and commentaries on these subjects. His work primarily focuses on India and other low to middle-income countries.
