About
I am a clinician-researcher who is aiming to challenge contemporary understanding of employment wellbeing with a strong focus within healthcare environments. My research and work aim to disrupt reductionist models of burnout, depression and compassion fatigue and advance a more nuanced, systems-informed paradigm that integrates individual, relational and organisational determinants of wellbeing. In the past five years I participated in several important national and international collaborations leading to 18 peer-reviewed publications exploring a broad range of staff wellbeing and advancing understanding of the important value of clinical debriefings in health environments. I have maintained my clinical skills by continuing to respond to acute and critical incidents with individuals, teams and organisations and providing professional counselling and coaching.
