Working as an Assistant Research Scientist at Main Maize Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Godhra specializing in Entomology, I am engaged in applied and fundamental research focusing on the sustainable management of insect pests affecting maize crops. My role involves designing and executing field and laboratory experiments, monitoring pest populations, and evaluating integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to enhance crop health and productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Conducting entomological surveys and seasonal pest monitoring.
2. Screening maize germplasm for resistance to major insect pests.
3. Developing and validating eco-friendly pest management solutions.
