About
Dr. Bhaveshkumar H. Pithadiya is an Assistant Professor at the Madhuben & Bhanubhai Patel Institute of Technology (MBIT), CVM University, Anand, Gujarat, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronics from Saurashtra University, Rajkot, in 2022, specializing in the development of agriculture sensor networks with IoT for smart greenhouses.
With over 15 years of experience in academia, research, and industry, Dr. Pithadiya’s research interests include IoT-based automation, wireless sensor networks, embedded systems, smart agriculture, and AI applications in engineering. He has published numerous research papers in international journals and conferences, including those indexed in the Web of Science and Springer. His recent works focus on cost-effective IoT systems, real-time environmental monitoring, and smart farming technologies.
Dr. Pithadiya has actively participated in and contributed to more than 50 faculty development programs, international workshops, and training courses on IoT, AI, and advanced engineering technologies. He is also a member of professional bodies such as the International Association of Electrical, Electronic, and Energy Engineering (IAEEEE) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
He has authored the book “Microcontrollers & Embedded Systems” (Scientific International Publishing House, 2024–25) and holds a published patent titled “Blockchain for IoT Security and Privacy.” Dr. Pithadiya continues to mentor students and researchers, emphasizing innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and practical applications of smart technologies for sustainable development.
Recognized for his scholarly contributions, Dr. Pithadiya was appointed as a Reviewer for the journal Engineering and Applied Sciences (Science PG) on 14 April 2025. He actively contributes to the peer-review process, supporting high-quality scientific research and innovation in engineering disciplines.
