About
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India. I hold a Ph.D. in Life Sciences (Environmental Sciences) and have research experience spanning cancer biology, molecular pharmacology, tumor immunology, environmental toxicology, immunology, and translational oncology. My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression and therapeutic response, with particular emphasis on natural product-based therapeutics, cancer chemoprevention, and precision medicine.
Previously, I completed postdoctoral training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA, where I investigated epigenetic mechanisms and immunotherapeutic strategies for high-risk multiple myeloma. My research integrates molecular and cellular biology, functional assays, cancer signaling, and therapeutic evaluation to identify novel targets and improve cancer treatment outcomes.
I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and edited scientific books and actively serve as a reviewer and editorial board member for several international journals. My current research interests include cancer therapeutics, tumor immunology, pharmacogenomics, functional genomics, and translational cancer research. I am committed to developing innovative therapeutic strategies through interdisciplinary collaborations and advancing precision oncology to improve patient care.
