About
I am a Professor of Computer Science at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, with research expertise in Computational Social Science, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and Network Science. I received my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and subsequently served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Informatics at King’s College London, United Kingdom.
My research investigates algorithmic and data-driven approaches to understanding complex social systems, with particular emphasis on dynamic social networks, influence maximization, toxicity and bias detection, and AI-driven modeling of online communities. In recent years, my work has expanded to Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and agentic AI systems, focusing on robust, interpretable, and socially responsible AI frameworks for analyzing and reasoning over multimodal and large-scale digital ecosystems.
