Dr. R. Viswanath is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, MES college of Arts, Commerce and Science, Bangalore.
Dr. R. Viswanath worked as Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of PG Studies and Research in Industrial Chemistry at Kuvempu University, Karnataka India from 2015 to 2020.
Dr. R. Viswanath completed his Ph. D. from the Department of PG Studies and Research in Industrial Chemistry at Kuvempu University, Karnataka for which he was awarded INSPIRE FELLOWSHIP from DST, NEW DELHI in the year 2010 and he shined as merit students as a 1st rank holder for 2009 batch from same University. His research interests lie in the area of nanotechnology, semiconductor, photocatalytic and photoluminescence materials. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines in the form of designing nanomaterials for optical studies, imaging, photocatalytic and biological applications.
His research carrier has been supported by the 48 research articles published in reputed peer reviewed International/National journals and actively participated and presented his research findings in various International/National conferences. He is also a life member of couple of well renewed organizations in India.
Dr. R. Viswanath has actively involved in co-curricular activities in academic along with teaching practice and also helped in conducting seminars, preparing project proposals.
