👌 About: Dr. Vijay Kumar was born on 9 June 1984 at Babehar village of Himachal Pradesh (India).
👌 Education: Dr. Vijay Kumar did Ph.D. (Chemistry) form Lovely Professional University (India). He earned a Master's in Chemistry (Hons) (2009-2011) from Lovely Professional University (India) and was a Gold Medalist. He has qualified for CSIR-NET (2012) and GATE (2012). The University Grants Commission has awarded him a National Fellowship for 5 years for his Ph.D. work. He was awarded with "Excellence in Academics" award 2017 for his excellent contributions in research from 2011-2016.
👌 Area of Expertise: Dr. Vijay Kumar is an expert in the areas of Phytochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Agriculture Chemistry, and Herbal Drug Quality Control.
👌 Work Experience: Presently, Dr. Vijay Kumar is working as HOD Chemistry Department, Research Officer (Chemistry)/ Scientist with the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. He has worked as an Assistant Plant Protection Officer (Chemistry) with the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. He has worked with CIPLA Ltd (a leading Pharma Multinational Company).
👌 Research Impact: Dr. Vijay Kumar has published more than 200 articles with a total H index of 50. He has been among the top 2% of scientists since 2021. Member of Various National and international Societies, and Editorial Board Member & Reviewer of Various Journals/publishers.
👌 Awards: Dr. P. D. Sethi Award for Chromatography five times; Young Scientist Award 2021; Distinguished Scientist Award 2022; Appreciation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India; Appreciation from the CCRAS, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
