About
Dr. Dash is serving as Assistant Professor in the department of Physiology, University of Gour Banga, Malda since 2016. He obtained his doctoral degree in the year 2016 from the Department of Human Physiology with community Health, Vidyasagar University with the specialization in Immunology and Microbiology. He has published 57 research articles in various National and International reputed journals covering the fields of nanotechnology, cancer biology, immunology and bacteriology. He has developed several nano formulations for selective targeting of different cancer cells as well as clinically isolated multi drug resistant bacteria. His current research area emphasizes the modifications of plant derived triterpenoids for making it highly selective for cancer cells and cancer stem cells. He is also involves for fabrications of various metal and organic nanoparticles using green synthesis and to investigate their efficacy against drug resistant superbugs. Along with lab based experimental works he is also performing survey works based on the socio-demographic factors relating with Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Dash has several distinguished positions in the University's academic and administrative organizations, as well as three registered Ph.D scholars working under his supervision in emerging domains. He is also acts as an executive editorial member of Health outlook journal (India), Journal of Cancer Clinical Research and Journal of Experimental Medicine and Biology, publish from USA and reviewer of various reputed journals of Elsevier, Spinger and Willey publishers.
