I am a trained organic chemist with more than 10 years of medicinal chemistry experience. I was involved in developing synthetic methodologies for challenging organic transformations during my Ph.D. in India and postdoctoral research in France. Upon completion of my postdoctoral research in France, I made a quick transition from organic synthesis to medicinal chemistry. In a short span of time, I along with my team was able to deliver a clinical candidate for metabolic disorder. This candidate is presently in Phase II clinical trials in both India and Europe. In addition to the above-mentioned program I have been part of multiple medicinal chemistry programs in diabetes, inflammation and oncology. I manage a group of highly skilled chemists involved in the design and synthesis of NCE’s. I also aid the transition of these advanced molecules for large scale synthesis by process optimization.
