About
My present work focuses on animal rescue shelters in India with a focus on Indian free-ranging dogs (demographics, leading causes of entry, predictors of adoption, post-adoptive behavioral patterns, and chronic stress). My doctoral research was in community ecology where I tried to understand the patterns and drivers of community structure of freshwater fishes in two ecoregions in India. My work investigated alpha, beta and gamma diversities along with trophic networks in freshwater ecosystems.
